Week #4

Assignment #1

Assignment #2
Reading Assessment

The student does have good comprehension skills. He is able to repeat the main idea of the story. When the teacher asks for more details he was able to repeat only after re-looking at the story. He understands the idea of compare and contrast and can say the similarities and difference of the fish and whales. I did hear through his reading of the story, and talking to the teacher that his grammar skills are weak. For example he read: "...are large animals that lived in the water", and he also said: "that were borned". His fluency in reading was a little slow as well. Overall his reading skills are pretty good but can use a little improvement.
